Vervelife 9.0 ‘Ignite’ Takes Fitness and Lifestyle Experience Across Nigeria

Vervelife, Africa’s biggest fitness experience, is set to return for its ninth season, bringing its signature blend of fitness, music, healthy living and community to cities across Nigeria, building up the grand finale event on the 21st of November at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos.

Themed ‘Ignite’, the ninth season kicked off on Saturday, August 15, 2026, with the Ikorodu Fitness Festival at the Ebute/Ipakodo Ferry Terminal, Ikorodu, before moving to other cities across the country.

The 2026 roadmap includes planned stops in Ibadan, Enugu, Lagos mainland and Uyo, extending Vervelife’s reach and bringing its fitness and lifestyle experience to more communities ahead of the Lagos finale.

The season will culminate at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, on November 21, marking the second time the venue will host the Africa’s Biggest Fitness Party. The finale will feature a sensational morning fitness experience followed by an exclusive evening after-party, bringing together Vervelife’s signature mix of workouts, music and healthy food.

The 2026 finale will also infuse a refreshed mix of attractions including a challenging obstacle course, an informative masterclass and a fun-filled kiddies corner, offering additional ways for fitness enthusiasts, families and the wider community to participate.

Adding to the energy of the experience will be a diverse lineup of local fitness personalities and trainers, including Coach Trebla, Kemen, Mayor, BenFit, Dolly, Ceejay, Alvin Lee from Kenya, and many more. The lineup is also expected to feature two international fitness acts, with further details to be announced ahead of the grand finale.

Furthermore, fitness trainers, dance instructors, aerobics coaches, yoga/pilates instructors, and other fitness enthusiasts nationwide who have got what it takes are encouraged to participate in the maiden edition of the “Road to Vervelife 9 Stage” competition. A platform that’s been designed for fitness trainers to secure slots on Africa’s biggest fitness stage, come November 2026.
