Oyebamiji Votes in Ikire, Expresses Confidence in Victory

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, on Saturday cast his vote at Ward 09, Unit 011, in Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area of the state.

Oyebamiji arrived at the polling unit at about 10:42 a.m., where he was welcomed by cheers from a large crowd of voters who had gathered at the polling station to exercise their civic rights.
Speaking with journalists shortly after casting his ballot, the APC candidate expressed confidence that he would emerge victorious at the end of the election.

Oyebamiji said the election had been peaceful so far, according to reports reaching him from various parts of the state, and expressed hope that the peaceful atmosphere would be sustained throughout the voting process.

“From the reports I have gotten so far, everywhere is peaceful, and we hope it will continue like this. I expect that I am going to have the victory at the end of the day,” he said.

The APC candidate also commended the conduct of the electoral process at his polling unit, noting that officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security personnel and voters were present and that the situation remained under control.

According to him, “The INEC officials, security agencies and voters are present, and everything is under control.”
