Yahaya Seriki: A worthy community development ambassador

Ambassador Abdulfatah Yahaya Seriki Gambari has earned himself a place of pride in community development and service to humanity.

He is qualified for an ambassador of community development and not only that of peace he earned many years back. This is no flattering but a clear testament on where he stands.

When I assumed office as the driver of community interventions with the sole aim of bringing more corporate and individuals into community engagement and partnership with the government; Ambassador Gambari was one of the few we could ride on their backs.

We tested our first programme by currying a few personalities in the city who are friends of government and development— himself was available and gave the needed support.

Ambassador Gambari alongside Hon. Moshood Mustapha, Engr. (Mrs) Shade Omoniyi and Engr. Seun Bolaji sponsored our workshop for community development officers in Kwara State. Union Bank Plc and Kwara Internal Revenue Service came in as corporate sponsors, as well.

Gambari is in the league of prime movers of development and harbinger of growth through his investment in various sectors like agriculture and mining among others.
