Real Madrid and Barcelona Headline La Liga Action

Real Madrid and Barcelona both made winning starts to Matchday Two, while Atlético Madrid were held to another draw.

Real Madrid beat Espanyol 2–1 before following up with a 4–1 victory over Real Sociedad, while Barcelona followed their 5–0 win over Elche with a 2–0 victory over Athletic Club. Both sides now have six points from two matches. Atlético, meanwhile, are still searching for their first win after a 2–2 draw with Villarreal.

Real Madrid host Málaga on Sunday at 4:00 pm, while Atlético travel to Sevilla on Saturday at 8:30 pm. Barcelona welcome Rayo Vallecano on Monday at 8:30 pm.
