Nigeria Bar Association Holds Their Annual Conference in Lagos

Nigeria Bar Association (SPIDEL) holds their Annual Bar Conference in Lagos tagged “post election Nigeria:The judiciary in the eye of the storm.

This was disclose yesterday during a press conference held at NBA Ikeja Branch Auditorium, beside Lagos Police Headquarters, Ikeja.

While addressing the press men ,the chairman conference planning committee, Dr Monday Ubani said the conference will start by 20th of june to 23rd of june 2023 and it will take place at citadel complex, oregun

This will attract lawyers and judges from various state of federation and also featuring eminent jurists from the Bar and Bench.

He said the keynote speaker is mr femi Falana SAN while the opening session will be chaired by former NBA President, Dr, Olisa Agbakoba OON.

” In addressing matter that touch on the public interest , we applaud the suspension of the central Bank Mr Godwin Emefiele and urge that his regime be thoroughly investigated for his aleged role in the mismanagement of economy.

Ubani said they use the medium to advise Tiunbu Administration to develop Zoro tolerance policy towards corruption and mismanagement of public funds.

The government must obey the rule of law and avoid executive awlessness and impunity, these are the acts that will bring his administration into collision

They also use the medium to thank the former Attorney General of Lagos State ,Mr Moyosore Onigbanjo SAN for being a Bar man in deed also we appreciate the chief justice of lagos state,Hon Kazeem Alogba for his commitment to the success of the forthcoming conference.

The Governor of Lagos State Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu, and his counterpart from Abia state Dr Alex Otti , Senators and House of Representatives members are aslo expected at the event.
