DLM CAPITAL GROUP CLARIFIES MEDIA PUBLICATIONS ON THE LAUNCH OF SOFRI DIGITAL BANK

With reference to the above subject DLM Capital Group wishes to clarify publications in some national dailies and social media platforms on the launch of a new product, Sofri Digital Bank.

In the said publication, reference to the launch of “Sofri Digital Bank” was an inadvertent misrepresentation of the license authorization held by its related entity, Links MFB, a unit microfinance bank licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

For the avoidance of doubt, the new product, Sofri, is simply a digital channel through which customers can perform activities such as transfers, bill payments, airtime and data purchase, deposits, access to loans etc, and is not a bank. We regret any confusion that this may have caused the public.

DLM and Links MFB commits to full compliance with conditions of their license authorizations and will continually support the efforts of the regulatory authorities aimed at fostering financial inclusion and economic growth.
