The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has congratulated the Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq over the strategic developments ongoing in Kwara state.

This was contained in a congratulatory statement signed by the Minister who said irrespective of some political disagreements, Governor Abdulrazaq has performed appreciably well and raised the bar of governance in the country.

Alhaji Mohammed commended the governor for embarking on priority and life changing projects, saying it was clear indications that Abdulrazaq meant well for the people of Kwara State.

Similar stakeholders from Irepodun Local Government Area, where the minister comes from have equally commended the governor for his remarkable achievements in the area.

Prominently, Alhaji Raheem Adedoyin who also hails from Oro, the same kingdom with the Minister for Information, specifically appreciated Gov Abdulrazaq’s exemplary achievements in the locality.

“My Oro District in Irepodun Local Government, is already in celebratory mood. Our flagship educational heritage, the iconic Oro Grammar School, OGS, has been given a complete face lift (rehabilitation, renovation, new classroom construction and new equipments). Complementarily, the Ijomu Oro/Okerimi Oro Junction –NITEL Junction (strategically linking the two wards in Oro District) is now an asphalt-lay road, courtesy of the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Government. This road project is so significant to us because all entreaties by Oro people since 1958 when OGS was created for that project to be undertaken, were unheeded. Until AbdulRazaq came to our rescue. Thank you, Mr. Governor, ” Adedoyin stated on the strength of dividends of democracy delivered to the people of Oro kingdom.
