JUST IN: Nigeria’s Chief Of Army Staff, Attahiru And Others Die In Plane Crash in Kaduna
The Nigerian Chief of Army Staff Ibrahim Attahiru has been killed in a plane crash in Kaduna, Naija breeze gathered the reports from military sources.
Mr Attahiru was appointed chief of army staff on January 26, succeeding Tukur Buratai. He was 54.
Mr Attahiru was killed alongside other military chiefs who were on the same flight, sources said. The presidency has already been briefed about the development.
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru is said to be among the casualties.
He was apparently were on his way to Kaduna ahead of tomorrow’s passing out parade of soldiers from the Nigerian Army depot, Zaria.
