Community Updates: KWSG sustains effort at enhancing capacity of Community Development Officers to meet modern day realities

In our sustained efforts at fast tracking socio-economic development at the grassroots; our Community Driven Rural Development (CDRD) agenda is receiving a boost with 32 Community Development Officers (State & LGA) participating in a capacity building workshop on Tuesday 25th August 2020. The resource persons are Mr. Olubunmi Ibiloye (Retired Director Community Development Service, State of Osun) and Mallam Lawal Olohungbe (Coordinator, Centre for Community Development, KWASU Malete).
Participants will be exposed to National Policy on Community Development, Peer Review among CDAs and Important tips on engendering peaceful co-existence among communities in Kwara State among other important issues.
This workshop will enjoy a Keynote by His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Executive of Kwara State. Other top Government functionaries will be part of the all important event.
We are grateful to Union Bank Plc, Kursi Group, Crystal International Hotel and Kwara International Revenue Service (KWIRS) for their support. We will be doing more with the private sector as critical stakeholders in Community Development as the train moves on.
