Kwara State Commissioner for Environment, Mrs Banigbe Remilekun Oluwatobi, today moved round the Ipata Market in Ilorin East Local Government, to inspect the usage of the newly deployed Roro Bins.

Banigbe who was in the company of the General Manager (GM) of Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA), Alhaji Saad Ayuba Dan Musa also ensured that wastes dumped on the road medians were evacuated by a culprit caught in the act.

She warned residents and market men and women never to dump their wastes on the road medians, rather make use of the Roro Bins and keep the environment clean.

While changing the already full RoRo Bin to an empty one in the market, the Commissioner assured the people that the bin will always be evacuated as at when due for the good of the people.

She enjoined the people to give their massive support to the ministry and the state at large in the quest to make Kwara a very clean and tidy society.

Together with the KWEPA team, she proceeded into the nooks and crannies of the market urging residents and marketers to sweep off every dirt in their sorroundings.

According to her, the Government of Mallam AbduRahman AbdulRazaq is such that has the interest of the people at heart and can go any length in ensuring Kwarans are secured from any disease that could emanate from untidy environment.

She appealed to all and sundry to cooperate with the agenda of the Governor and together make the state a hub of neatness.
