The gathering drew prominent figures including Joke Silva, Ireti Doyle, Linda Ejiofor, and Ibrahim Suleiman, alongside former Big Brother Naija stars, reinforcing the cultural significance of the moment.
With over 2,000 entries submitted, this year’s edition marks a significant milestone in the continued growth of AMVCA, reflecting the rapid expansion of Africa’s film and television industry. Over the years, the awards have evolved into a leading platform that celebrates African culture, elevates authentic storytelling, and provides a stage for both emerging and established talent across the continent.
