Xiaomi launches Mi-Note10, Mi-Note 10 pro…. greets Nigerians at Xmas

The Telecom giant, Xiaomi has used the  period of Christmas festivities to bring to Nigerians a device called Mi- Note  series – Mi Note10 and Mi- Note Pro . These products have been described by the Managing Director of Xiaomi, Seifullah Balarabe Gaya as the best brand at the moment globally.

Speaking at the launching which was done at its corporate office in Ikeja – Lagos and which also featured live show performance by top Nigerian singer, song writer and entertainer, Teniola Apata popularly known as Teni  Makanaki , the Xiaomi Marketing Director, Mr Habeeb Somoye said the launching of the device is also a way of thanking Nigerians for the patronage and support in the last nine months.

“This is our first Christmas in Nigeria and if it is our first Christmas in Nigeria, we need to associate with what Nigerians are associating with and that is what has called for Teniola featuring at this event. You know when it comes to artists’ rankings, Teni is among the top now .If she is among the top, we need to associate with her because we are also leading. We are just about nine months old in the country, but we are leading , not just that we are leading in terms of innovation but we are leading in terms of good pricing.

” When we came on board in April 2019 , after the launch of Note 7, the very first thing we experienced in the market was a general price slash across the board because of stiff competition. And that is to let us know that our products have become a big threat”, Somoye said.

Speaking on the new brand , Somoye echoed the Managing Director’s position that it is the best of all products currently in the market.

” So what we are bringing to Nigerians is to associate with Christmas. We all know that Christmas is a time you appreciate people. You don’t appreciate people alone , but you appreciate them with better value. And that is why we are bringing,  the best of all”, Somoye said.

On the features of the device, Somoye said : ” What we  are bringing to the market through the Mi series is representing No1 globally. The features are number one in the world. As of today, it is still the number one because we are talking of a phone with 108 MAH. And it is not only 108 MP but a phone with high lenses. It is a phone with five cameras which take care of ultra wide, depth lenses, width lenses and all others. Another thing is that it is coming in two variants which we called Mi Note 10 pro and Mi Note 10 itself.  Battery is very key and that is what we have in this device, it has a bigger battery. The battery is above 5000MAH . It is also well secured”.

Somoye also used the occasion to appreciate all that has in one way or the other contributed to the success story of Xiaomi in Nigeria in the last nine months.
