We must love one another as Christ loves the universe – HID Tijani urges constituents
The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani has urged residence and constituent members to take a lead from the love and teaching of Jesus Christ as the Easter season is being celebrated.
He made this known while addressing the press on Good Friday noting that the Easter period is meant to teach and educate humanity to live in love and harmony.
“Easter is a very significant season in Christendom and it is important we learn from the teachings of Christ. We must take a lead from Jesus Christ our Lord”, he said.
He further said that God is love and his love has been sent to mankind through his begotten son and stressing that nobody can give the life of his son for other person’s sins.
“I therefore call on all and sundry to continue to live in love and embrace peace for the peaceful coexistence of all”, Hon. HID Tijani concluded.
