VerveLife 8.0 Set to Light Up Lagos: Registration Opens for Africa’s Biggest Fitness Party
Verve, Africa’s leading payment card brand, has announced that the grand finale of VerveLife 8.0, the continent’s largest fitness and lifestyle event, will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
After an exciting series of satellite events across Nigeria, Uganda, and Kenya, VerveLife 8.0 is set to culminate in Lagos with a full day of fitness, fun, music, and celebration — bringing together thousands of fitness enthusiasts, wellness advocates, and lifestyle lovers from across Africa.
Speaking on the upcoming event, Tomi Ogunlesi, Divisional Head, Brands, Communications, Content and CSR, Interswitch Group, said that VerveLife is now running in its eighth year and continues to grow as a platform for community, wellness, and empowerment.
Themed: “Elev8”, Ogunlesi stressed that this year’s edition challenges participants to do more, feel better, and live brighter — symbolizing the drive to elevate every aspect of life, health, and happiness.
He said: “VerveLife is more than a fitness event; it’s a lifestyle movement that celebrates energy, resilience, and togetherness. With VerveLife 8.0, we’re not just elevating fitness — we’re elevating experiences across Africa.”
According to the Interswitch Group Boss, the day’s activities will kick off at 7:00 a.m. with VerveLife’s signature high-energy fitness party, featuring Africa’s top trainers, dance instructors, and wellness coaches. Participants can also look forward to a range of exciting side attractions, including: Obstacle course challenges, Nutrition and lifestyle masterclasses, Breakout sessions and wellness talks and a dedicated kiddies’ corner for family fun.
Ogunlesi further noted that the celebration will continue with the VerveLife 8.0 After Party, starting at 7:00 p.m., featuring live performances from some of Africa’s biggest music stars and DJs — guaranteeing an unforgettable night of rhythm, movement, and connection.
