Performance-Based: “Lagos West Youths Pledge 95% Vote for Tinubu, Insist on Zoning Governor to Badagry”

The Youths from the Lagos West division of Lagos state has made a strong demand for the zoning of the govenorship ticket to the area vowing not to accept anything short of the number seat.

The call which was in unism to the same made on Monday by the traditional rulers and political leaders is coming as the clamour for the governorship seat gained renewed momentum in the state.

While addressing a media briefing on behalf of the APC Youths from Lagos West in Amuwo Odofin, Prince Seyon Adeyemi Akran, described the moment as historic, declaring that the younger generation is united, aware, and determined to support the position earlier taken by traditional rulers across the division.

The Convener of the APC Youths from Lagos West also promised to give President Tinubu and the governorship candidate 95 percent of votes from the youths during the 2027 general elections.

Prince Seyon Adeyemi Akran explained that gone are the days when Badagry is looked down upon noting the area have produced prominent Lagosians doing well in all spheres of life.

On his part, one of the youth leaders, Adewale Talabi declared that over eighty percent of youth in the Badagry have secured their Permanent Voters Card towards ensuring another victory for the President and the governorship candidate in 2027 polls.

He lamented that years of neglect of the entire Lagos West Senatorial District was responsible for lack of visible socio-economic development in the area.

Also speaking, Aladeotan David said the people of Badagry are delighted with huge cultural heritage and tourism potentials domiciled in the area adding that it is strategically positioned due to its closeness to neighbouring countries.

According to him, Mr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose if given the mandate will unlock the tourism potentials of Badagry the same way he had impacted on the lives of residents and supported the party at different times across the state.
