OKETUNJI EMERGES AS NEW YABATECH LIBRARIAN
The Governing Council of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) at its meeting of Friday, October 29, 2021 approved the appointed of Dr. Serah Funmilayo Oketunji as the new substantive Polytechnic Librarian.
She took over from Dr. Ademola Fijabi who has been holding the position in an acting capacity since 2020.
Oketunji joined the service of the College as a Senior Librarian deployed to Head Acquisition Department in 1993.
She is a veteran of the Library profession with over 28 years experience.
Oketunji who was born almost six decades ago, hails from Iresi in Osun State. She is happily married with children.
In line with the new Polytechnic act, her tenure of office will run for five years.
Until this appointment, Oketunji was the Deputy Polytechnic Librarian.
