Manchester Divided For Premier League Derby On GOtv
The biggest match in Europe this weekend will see Premier League champions Manchester City host their city rivals Manchester United on Sunday in the first Manchester derby of the Premier League season.
Sitting fourth in the league table, the Citizens have won just one of their last 10 matches in all competitions, and are currently eight points behind league leaders Liverpool. Pep Guardiola’s men won the corresponding fixture last season 3-1 but lost the FA Cup final to Manchester United at Wembley.
The Red Devils, currently 13th in the table, lost their last four matches to their neighbours at the Etihad Stadium. The last United victory at City was in March 2021. Real Madrid and Barcelona will also be in La Liga action this weekend. Real Madrid will travel to Rayo Vallecano on Saturday, live on DStv ch 204 and GOtv ch 62, at 9 pm, while Barcelona will host Leganes live on the same channel on Sunday, at 9 pm.
Serie A leaders Atalanta will hope to maintain their good run when they travel to Cagliari on Saturday. The match will be broadcast live on GOtv ch 64 at 3 pm. AC Millan hosts Geno at 8:45 pm. on Sunday, while Lazio and Inter Millan face off in a big clash on Monday night at 8:45 pm.
