I remain in APC – Bio
The Senior Special Assistant to Kwara Governor on SDG, Jemila Bio, who is also the daughter of former Minister of Transportation, Hon Isa Bio, has dissociated herself from her father’s defection to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and activities associated with the exercise, stating her solidarity with the governor of Kwara state, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
Jemila described the defection of her father as his personal responsibility which does not have the backing of Baruten LGA stakeholders.
“This is an area that has been stagnant in terms of development for several decades.
“Within a very short period of time, we have witnessed stategic transformation in infrastructural and human development in Baruten LGA.
“This government has constructed blocks of classrooms in BGS JSS, Okuta; Central Primary School, Taberu; LGEA School Dam; AIS Boriya LGEA School, Dameru; JSS Chikanda; LGEA School, Bwereguru; LGEA School, Omo mere; LGEA School Alafiaru/Agbaka
LGEA School, Dogere.
“Also to reduce open defecation, this government has constructed VIP toilets at AIS Boriya; Central Gwanara School; Babane School and LGEA Primary School, Dameru.
“This administration has also remodelled some classrooms at Central LGEA school in Gwanara and fabricated students furnitures at LGEA Primary School, Gwanara – 475 Units, LGEA School, Alafiaru/Agbaka – 75 Units, JSS Chikanda – 75 Units, JSS KSB – 75 Units, LGEA School, Dogere – 50 Units, LGEA School, Babame – 50 Units,
LGEA School Dam – 50 Units,
AIS Boriya – 100 Units, and
BGS JSS, Okuta – 100 Units.
“Equally, the government has fabricated Teacher’s furnitures at Central Primary School, Taberu – 7 Units and
LGEA School, Gwanara – 17 Units.
“Very importantly, the 33Km Gwanara road is been completed by this government. The first radio station in Kwara North was constructed in Okuta, Baruten LGA by this same government.
“Our party, the APC, remains very strong, waxing very strong. It will be stronger than what it was with Hon Bio’s presence,” Jemila stated.
