Go and Collect Your PVC, Owan Hopeful Urges Supporters Ahead of 2027

A leading House of Representatives hopeful for the Owan Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections has called on residents, particularly his supporters, to urgently collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), describing the card as the most powerful tool in a democratic society.

Speaking recently while addressing members of the press, the aspirant passionately appealed to eligible voters who are yet to obtain their PVCs to do so without delay. According to him, the 2027 elections present a defining moment for the people of Owan to shape their political future and strengthen the ideals of good governance under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

He noted that the PVC is more than just an identification card, describing it as “the only sword in a democratic nation like Nigeria.” He explained that in a constitutional democracy such as Nigeria, political power ultimately resides with the people, and the ballot remains the most peaceful and legitimate instrument for expressing their will.

“It is only with your voter’s card that you can truly demonstrate your support and belief in a better Owan,” he stated, emphasizing that electoral participation is both a civic duty and a constitutional right.

The aspirant further declared that his ambition is driven by a desire to represent all segments of society. He reaffirmed his commitment to championing the interests of youths, the elderly, women, farmers, and artisans, promising inclusive representation that reflects the collective aspirations of the constituency.

Highlighting the importance of political awareness, he urged citizens not to undermine their future by selling their votes, warning that such actions weaken democracy and compromise long-term development. He reminded supporters that their mandate is sacred and must be protected.

“The power belongs to the people who are ready to stand up and defend it,” he added, calling for unity, vigilance, and responsible participation in the electoral process.
