Ex-Kwara Governor Evicted From Home Over N5bn Debt
The immediate past governor of Kwara State, Mr. Abdulfatah Ahmed has been ejected from his palatial mansion situated at 9A, AbdulRazaq Street, GRA, Ilorin over an unpaid N5bn debt he is allegedly owing Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON)A team of 25 armed Mobile Policemen led by one Barrister Robert Nwoba was earlier today on the premises executing the quit order on the ex-governor and his family from the posh property.A video posted online by counsel to the plaintiff, Robert Nwoba, went viral today showing the palatial mansion built by the former state executive.Nwoba narrated in the video that the ex-governor was given ample opportunity to negotiate with AMCON on how he would defray the huge debt but he snubbed the offer.Nwoba said his team would be heading to Abuja to also take over other properties of the ex-governor, including offices.
