EFCC Releases Ex-Kwara Governor On Bail, 72 Hours After Arrest
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released former Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatai Ahmed about 72 hours after he was invited for questioning.
Information gathered that the former governor was released on bail by the anti graft agency, following the provision of a surety, as investigation continues.
Rumours of an earlier release had rented the media space yesterday when a tweet about the reasons for his arrest surfaced on the erstwhile Governor’s verified twitter handle.
