Ajose Meets APC Leaders in Agege, Announces New Alimosho Political Bloc

Hon. Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose, a governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, has intensified his statewide consultations with a high-level engagement involving party stakeholders in Agege.

The interactive session, held at the Women Development Centre in Pen Cinema, brought together APC leaders, grassroots coordinators, and supporters from Alimosho and neighbouring communities, highlighting the expanding reach of Ajose’s political outreach within the party.

Speaking at the meeting, Ajose expressed satisfaction with the strong attendance, describing it as a clear indication of renewed confidence and growing enthusiasm among party members, despite the engagement being organised at short notice. He said the level of participation demonstrated Alimosho’s readiness to remain a key driver of the APC’s electoral strength in Lagos.

The aspirant underscored Alimosho’s political significance, citing its large voting population and consistent loyalty to the party over the years. In a major announcement, he unveiled the establishment of an additional political division within the local government area, a move he said was aimed at enhancing inclusiveness, improving coordination, and strengthening grassroots mobilisation.

Ajose explained that the new political structure would serve as a platform for deeper engagement with party members, while reinforcing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and consolidating the APC’s dominance across Lagos State. He added that the initiative was designed to promote unity, ownership, and long-term commitment among party faithful.

According to him, the enthusiastic response from stakeholders marked the beginning of a broader political reawakening, driven by constructive engagement and shared responsibility for the party’s future.

Ajose further noted that sustained collaboration in Alimosho would translate into stronger support for all APC candidates in forthcoming elections. He commended party leaders and supporters for their dedication, describing the gathering as evidence of growing preparedness and cohesion within the party.

He also encouraged eligible residents to participate fully in the democratic process by registering to vote, collecting their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), and officially aligning with the APC. Such participation, he said, would not only reinforce support for President Tinubu but also empower citizens to play an active role in shaping the leadership of Lagos State.
